My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fat and proteins. It is not to create lists of restrictions of good and bad foods. Instead, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding.

My journey started almost 40 years ago.
I suffered from child anorexia at age three. Growing up, I would hear about how picky and difficult I was with food; each meal was a battle with myself and my parents. I was extremely skinny, and of ten laughed at in school.
At 12 years old, I went on a vacation to Greece with my family to a beautiful island called Molyvos. Something very strange happened on this near–paradise island —I started eating! And I mean eating. My appetite grew exponentially; everything was fresh and delicious, and each meal was a delight. For the first time in my life I was loving food. It was not scary or threatening anymore, it was friendly and made me feel happy.
My life changed too. My parents started being more involved. Family meals became fun and we had nice discussions at the dinner table. I was healthy and was gaining weight steadily.
Then adolescence came knocking, and with it came emotional turmoil, uncertainty, and judgement. Despite great academic and professional achievements and success (I managed to get a Masters degree in economics at 22 years old and a job as an economist for the Canadian Federal Department of Industry that same year), I was sad, extremely insecure, mildly anorexic, and by 25 years old, I was diagnosed with a severe nervous breakdown which kept me away from work for months.
That year my mother was also diagnosed with breast cancer. She died four years after, and in a way that was the beginning of my healing journey.
I became very interested in why she was not able to heal and survive despite all the extraordinary medical care she received. I realised that a human being was a combination of physical, emotional, spiritual, and materialistic elements, and that a healthy (or unhealthy) person was the embodiment of all these elements.
I spent the last decade researching, studying, and working on all the elements, or this mysterious “combination”. I met the man of my dreams and followed him to New York where we got married and started a family. I quit my job in Canada and decided I wanted to do something else here. I started living my truth, following my heart, and listening to my inner voice. Somehow my health got better, my anorexia which haunted me day and night for so long started fading, and disappeared completely.
With each challenge, I learned something new about myself, and slowly started guiding friends and colleagues to achieve their truth and find balance. I now have two beautiful children, and have decided to dedicate my life and energy to getting people, busy professionals, and families healthy so they may achieve balance in their daily challenging lives.
